  • Gratitude and Pensivity

My college experience has been a series of difficulty steps, as each semester had a new type of obstacle to climb.

Like prior posts, the brief nature of this is mainly due to not much needing to be said. Unlike other posts, I want to emphasize what reflection has brought me looking back upon the route up the mountain of life.

I’ve learned to be more grateful for friends, collaborators, and jokers. I see the need to change and grow, and the needs of consistency, self care, and both more and less imagination.

Looking forward is better when applying lessons learned looking back.

  • Brevity and Concision

I’ve come to learn that saying enough and not too much is a useful skill. And while this post is a response to being short on time, let the message remain despite the context.

We communicate with meanings, along the backs of words. We should let our words speak for themselves.

  • Starting

First steps are hard. From beginnings follow inertia, and then the snowball begins to roll downhill (for a bit, at least).

For better or worse, starting means overcoming the lack of inertia. This is the start, of what I hope to be, a set of monthly posts (no promises). I’m not sure where this will go, but the act of starting should not be overlooked.

  • A Brief Introduction

    Hello.

I’m not quite sure how you found yourself here.

If you can’t tell by the theme of this website, I prefer function over form. Nothing against good looking websites, but everything against websites that are difficult to be a user on.

Like the best laid plans of mice and men, progress may often go awry. This website is still being scaffolded, and I expect things to change; not necessarily fast, more eventually. This page will eventually be edited to reflect how the site has grown (or shrunk).

Ultimately, this website will be part blog (once a month is the current schedule), part storage space for other projects, and hopefully a place to look back on in the future.
